The fabulous La Toya Jackson dropped by The Wendy Williams Show and chatted it up on the couch about her new reality show, Life with La Toya on OWN. Naturally, she addressed the whole Omarosa Apprentice drama and set the record straight about her nemesis’ lawsuit claims:
I was never…There was a letter sent and it was sent to my people. But it was not a lawsuit, it was a letter. And that’s what it was, but she went on saying that it was a lawsuit, which it as never a lawsuit. And so I’m sitting back just watching this unravel [...] I’m one of these people that I like to live my life in a positive, I surround myself with positive people. And I want to stay there, and I don’t like getting involved in just the nonsense of the negativity that surrounds certain people. I just refuse to be a part of that.
The 56 year-old singer went on to talk about Michael’s children, whether she knows why her brother, Jermaine changed his last name (from Jackson to Jacksun) and played a round of Jackson Fave 5. But La Toya stopped being bubbly when Wendy brought up the emotional scene between herself and her best friend Kathy Hilton in regards to her virginity…
Wendy asked La Toya about her chastity once again and shared her personal perspective on the damaging actions of La Toya’s former husband/former manager, Jack Gordon. Although Jackson didn’t quite answer the question, she went on to say that despite her abusive marriage, she has never been in love:
My ex…I’ve never been in love. No, never. I’ve never been in love. But there’s love out there. Perhaps I will find it! [giggles]
