Stacey Dash is back on the soap box.
Just days after Jay-Z and Beyonce received backlash for their trip to Old Havana, it was announced that the U.S. Congress members would be investigating their anniversary trip to the country and dig into whether or not they violated the United States embargo against Cuba.
Politically vocal actress-model Stacey Dash isn’t too happy about their trip to Old Havana and has decided to join in on the conversation. The 46 year-old former Clueless star took her thoughts to her Twitter page this week to pose a question to her followers…and from the looks of the responses, it didn’t seem like any of her followers really cared:
Do you care that The Jay Z”s have taken the capital you have given them and funded a communist oppressive regime?

Dash isn’t the only one to voice their opinion about their trip. Florida’s Republican Senator Marco Rubio took to his website to issue a statement about the trip, demanding that the Obama Administration give an explanation regarding The Carters’ clearance and “how trips like these comply with U.S. law and regulations governing travel to Cuba.” He believes the government “should disclose how many more of these trips they have licensed.”
UPDATE: It has been reported that Beyonce and Jay-Z’s trip was deemed educational and fully licensed by the United States Treasury Department.

Now that Jay Z has announced the launching of his agency, Roc Nation Sport, Mr. Shawn Carter may have to sell his estimated 1% ownership of the Brooklyn Nets if he wants to receive “his National Basketball Players Association certification as an agent.”
According to the NBA rules mandate, “no one individual affiliated with a player representation company can have an ownership stake with an NBA team.” Carter has a bit of time to figure out how to go about it, but in the meantime, he’s already signed on Yankee’s very own Robinson Cano to his client roster.
