will.i.am looks beyond the pop charts as he cuts a generous check of $100,000.00 to the Manaiakalani Eduction Trust, a programme that assists in providing access to external resources and networks to Manaiakalani schools located in Auckland, New Zealand.
During a visit to Point England School on May 9, in Auckland, the recording artist and record producer flew in to share time and space with a bevy of underserved students as he presented his donation. He encouraged them to become scientists, mathematics and engineers so that they can compete in the technological future.
