This past weekend, Kelly Rowland performed her newest single, “Dirty Laundry” for the first time at the Fillmore Silver Spring venue in Washington, DC.
The 32 year-old singer opted to be more intimate and sit on a stool, while singing her heart out to the audience.
But when Kelly got to the end of the third verse about her abusive past, the former Destiny’s Child member choked up and began to cry after she sang, “he turned me against my sister, I missed ya” (start at the 4:19 mark). Peep Kelly’s emotional performance up top.
We’re glad she’s being more open and getting things off her chest. You can catch Ms. Rowland on select dates of her Lights Out tour with The-Dream.
