June 7, 8 and 9 of 2013 marked the annual Governor’s Ball on Randall’s Island in NYC. The highly relished and much anticipated music festival boasted a slew of performers –– across all genres –– slated to stun fans from coast to coast.
Check out wicked live footage of some of today’s buzzing artists including Kendrick Lamar, Nas and Azealia Banks, below. Then gander the gallery up top!
Kendrick Lamar took the stage, hurtling through selective hits including “P&P 1.5″ and “F*ckin’ Problem,” which you can see him perform live.
All he ever needed was one mic and later on, Nasir Jones proved it as he graced the crowd with a bevy of licks off his lengthy catalog.
Also having shared the stage was Harlem rapstress Azealia Banks. While her long-awaited debut album has seemingly lost momentum, she manages to reel us back in with a rousing performance of some of her more celebrated material over the weekend.
