Pharrell Williams cannot be stopped! The multi-talented musician and influencer reached a milestone in his professional career this year. He celebrated the tenth anniversary of his street-wear brand, Billionaire Boys Club with a soiree in New York City’s trendy TriBeCa neighborhood Tuesday night.
Billionaire Boys Club was founded in 2005 by Pharrell and partner Nigo (pictured above), famous for his cult-favorite label, A Bathing Ape. Yes, I am aware 2005 to 2013 does not equal ten years, but I’m going to go ahead to say the ten years accounts for the inception and creating of the brand prior to launch.
The anniversary fête, presented by HTC, was held at TriBeCa Canvas, a Japanese fusion restaurant under the supervision of Chef Morimoto, of Iron Chef fame. Famous guests in attendance included The Carters, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Q-Tip, fashion designer Mark McNairy, Busta Rhymes, photographer Terry Richardson, and artist KAWS.
