Miguel’s infamous jump fail incident is no longer a joking matter.
We’ve recently heard news of victim Khyati Shah considering legal action after being injured during the singers performance last month at the Billboard 2013 Awards. While she appeared to be okay in an interview backstage, Shah’s lawyer, Vip Bhola, is now reporting that she may have suffered brain damage.
Bhola updated TMZ with Shah’s condition saying “Some of the difficulties she’s experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury.” He also believed that his client should’ve been rushed to the hospital. There’s no word on whether Khyati will decide on a lawsuit until results are in next week.
Either way, this is all bad for Miguel. Before his performance at the annual award show, producers allegedly ordered the 27-year-old not to pull the jumping over the crowd stunt. Clearly ignoring those orders he plunged straight into the crowd which resulted in the fan’s head injury.
An apologetic looking Miguel was seen with the female fan backstage during a post-performance interview.
