On Tuesday night (June 11), comedian-actor Jamie Foxx stopped by “The Tonight Show” where he spoke about his roles in upcoming films, White House Down and Amazing Spider Man 2.
Before getting into his role in the action-thriller film co-starring Channing Tatum, he spoke briefly of his role in Spider Man.
So I play Max Dillion. My sister is my hairstylist, so she created the Django look, Ray Charles and things like that. So I told her … when I’m the nerd guy, I wanna be the first black man with a comb over. And so, I told her ‘make me look like I would look if I never made it.’
The conversation then shifts to his character’s villainous alter-ego, Electro. Foxx recreated the voice for the audience in a growling tone:
The voice is like, ‘Yes, a world without mercy, a world without power.’ But what’s funny is when I forget my line and I have to go back to my regular voice.
Of course, it isn’t long before the focus is shifted to his role as the President of The United States where the 45-year-old began to give the audience an improv of President Obama and speak of his experience performing at the white house.
When you perform at the white house, they actually ask you all the jokes that you’re gonna do and you have to tell them… and so I didn’t do any of the jokes that I wrote down.
