Times up! Today marks the day Lauryn Hill reports to federal prison in Connecticut to begin her 3 month sentence for tax evasion.
Ms. Hill was booked into a Correctional Facility in Danbury this morning, officials told TMZ.
But no worries for the former Fugees star since she’d be placed in barrack housing — a dormitory-style housing that allows a little more privacy. There, the 38-year-old will have company as she will be housed with other inmates. Seems pretty comfortable, huh?
Lauryn Hill pled guilty in 2012 to tax evasion charges for failure to pay federal taxes on $1.8 millions earnings from 2005 to 2007.
