Atlantic recording artists T.G.T., K. Michelle & Sevyn Streeter came together for a night of R&B for the label’s soulful showcase, #AtlanticIsRnB on Monday night (July 22) in NYC.
Held at the Stage 48 in conjuction with Spotlight Live, Sevyn Streeter kicked things off with a performance of her single, “I Like It” and some popular penned tunes like, Chris Brown’s “Fine China” and Kelly Rowland’s “Gone.”
K. Michelle hit the stage next and gave the crowd a slew of songs like “V.S.O.P.” as well as news songs like “When I Get A Man” and “I Don’t Like Me” from her upcoming album, Rebellious Soul.
But the stars of the show were Tank, Tyrese & R&B veteran Ginuwine of T.G.T. The talented soul singers brought the audience to their feet as they opened up with 90s hit songs like Bel Biv Divoe’s “Poison” & Jodeci’s “Freek N’ You.”..
The gentlemen went on to sing their individual hit songs like, “Sweet Lady,” “So Anxious,” and “I Deserve.” When it came to their new material, the trio sang “Sex Never Felt Better.” Now you all know, we were hoping they’d take another swing at their new single, “I Need.” But they definitely did NOT include that in their set.
Ah well. LOL! It was still a great showcase overall. Peep more pics up top and some performance videos of Sevyn, K. Michelle and the men of T.G.T below…
