Thank you, Juicy J, for further perpetuating the objectification of (colored) women.
Jordan “Juicy J” Houston, “a staunch supporter of education and women in general,” joined forces with urban entertainment website, Worldstarhiphop.com, to launch the Juicy J Scholarship Foundation competition.
“Out of the kindness of his heart,” the Memphis rap legend is gifting female followers with the opportunity to garner a $50,000 scholarship to their perspective school.
Although the term “twerking” or anything synonymous isn’t used, the scholarship’s press release clearly states that “contestants will be judged on their assets and creativity.” While “grades are optional,” Juicy certainly wants you to “show us why you deserve a scholarship,” as videos will be voted on by fans until the contest concludes, September 30, 2013.
Candidates can enter the competition by creating a YouTube video explaining why they are the most deserving of the money, using Juicy J’s “Scholarship” record. Ladies should submit the link to their video in the entry form located HERE.
Am I the only one who thinks this is all wrong? I’m all about the hustle, but dang. I guess… Peep Juicy’s 2 cents after the jump.
