Singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss recently gave back to Atlanta kids in need just in time for the new school year.
Through her new non-profit organization ‘Kandi C.A.R.E.S.’, Kandi along with the help of her daughter Riley and manager Don Juan, hosted the first annual back to school event where she donated school supplies to children in her hometown.
The C.A.R.E.S. organization is “dedicated to providing Education, Empowerment & Enrichment to the lives of single parents, and children who are the product of single parent homes.”
Also there for support were Kandi’s friend, Chanita Foster and the Kandi Koated team. The singer also hosted a party at Cascade Skating Rink where up-and-coming actor Jacob Latimore showed up for support.
