Queens rapper, Nas, is helping to change the lives of a single father and his family.
After hearing about Stanley Young, an unemployed construction worker and sole parent, whose house was destroyed by a fire two weeks ago, Nas began a campaign to help raise the money for a new home.
Young’s family is presently confined in a hotel. While the Life is Good emcee continues to collect donations to add unto the 35K he’s already managed to accumulate, Nas urges his fans that “time is running out.”
The problem lies largely in the fact that Young’s family is a unit of eight people. Finding a place big enough for the entire clan makes circumstances much more difficult. Not to mention, their mother passed away about a year ago.
