Toni Braxton seems to be in better spirits following her bankruptcy settlement.
The R&B songstress revealed recently that she’s getting ready for a mini tour starting Friday, August 9th. Despite reports of Braxton losing the rights of 27 songs, she calls herself “lucky” to be able to kick off another tour after being diagnosed with Lupis back in 2008.
As for her tour, the 45-year-old will begin with her return to Vegas at the Palms Casino Resort. She speaks positively of her upcoming tour in a recent interview with the Nevada Review Journal:
Insurance. Yeah, that part was challenging. We worked it out though. It was expensive, but it was also worth it.
Five years prior, Braxton held a lucrative deal with Flamingo Hotel which soon led to bankruptcy when her former insurance company refused to honor her Flamingo-cancellation policy. The singer was forced to cancel due to her illness and orders from her doctors.
