At 11, most kids are only starting to learn about themselves, beginning to take notice of their surroundings, punching the arms of a first crush or something like that. Not Carson Huey-You. He’s the kid prodigy who merely dabbles in video games and wrestling, but gets his juices going when he delves into Quantum Physics.
Carson was recently enrolled at Texas Christian University and started his freshman year as the youngest in the school’s history. At two he was reading chapter books, by 5 he was attending high school and now, he spends his days taking Physics, Calculus, History and Religion.
Andre Huey-You, father and former pilot, expressed not wanting to push his gifted son to try college so young, but to “hold on” to him instead. Having scored a 1770 on his SAT, been elected as co-valedictorian of his high school senior class and learned Mandarin Chinese, Carson himself chose to attend higher ed.
What’s more, is that the boy wonder attends class with his own mother, Claretta. Although most youths wouldn’t find it appealing to go to class with mom, Carson isn’t like most people.
Carson also aspires to earn his doctorate before he turns 20. Check him out with ABC News in the video up top.
