So often do Ciara’s long, sculpted legs come in baggy pants; her strong-featured face adorned with bandanas or fitteds. But there’s no denying, having evolved throughout the years from “Like a Boy” to “I’m Out,” that the Atlanta singer was always sexy underneath her signature tom-boyish looks.
In Paper magazine’s latest cover, Ciara “gets down and girly” by donning long ebony waves, a mesh/fishnet top and shorts, complete with leopard-print Louboutins and a crimson pout. She talks her relationship with rapper Future, her latest album and dressing more feminine.
I don’t wear a dress regularly, but even if I do, you have to put some attitude into it. I like a leather skirt, which gives you some toughness, but a feminine touch too. I like the androgynous thing with a hard edge: I make things rock ‘n’ roll — but still pretty.
