St. Louis native and rapper Nelly has landed a major endorsement deal with Honey Nut Cheerios for their “Must Be the Honey” campaign!
Nelly, who is hard at work on his seventh studio album, M.O. has rerecorded his hit, “Ride Wit Me,” in remix form, entitled “Must Be the Honey (M.B.T.H.).”
He also stars alongside the Honey Nut Cheerios mascot in a few commercials directed by the famed Hype Williams. When asked about the collaboration, Nelly had this to say:
I’ve worked with some very talented artists and thought—I think it’s about time I work with the Bee. I love the sweet taste of Honey Nut Cheerios and Buzz’ sweet sound on this track. When I hear it, I can’t help but smile.
In addition to the commercials, Nelly’s campaign will be supported by billboards, social media and radio ads.
