On Tuesday, September 18th, we revealed part one of our sit-down interview with Ryan Leslie, where he shared his take on his evolved sound, touring and more.
In part two, we really give Ryan a platform to share his journey to success with us, from his modest upbringing, to a point of being homeless whilst attending the prestigious Harvard University.
He also touches on his world travels and which up-and coming artists he is most looking forward to.
On whether he believes in down-time:
I’m not interested in down-time. That’s why I sleep three hours a night. I’m interested in leaving the most incredible legacy I possibly can leave while I am actually here and I have life, and I have strength.
On being a “finisher”:
When you contribute something of value to the world, you don’t have to worry about money, because the value is returned to you in so many ways, and that’s the way I live my life.
In related news, Ryan keeps open communication with his fans and can be reached via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone/text at +1-602-888-6978.
