Men’s lifestyle hub Street Etiquette and Visual Supply Company present SLUMFLOWER, a short comprised of stills that chronicles the story of a 10-year-old kid who finds beauty in the most unlikely of places –– the concrete jungle.
What initially draws a person in is, of course, the wardrobe donned by the little boy and the older male figures surrounding him. Three-piece suits, french berets, oxfords and cool shades make up the pristinely adorned slew of brothers who reside in what is alluded to be public housing –– an alternative concept to what is commonly perceived about the people who reside in the projects.
SLUMFLOWER aims to editorially provide a different view through fashion lens, one that transcends “hyper focus on looks and consumerism.”
