Oh ladies, behave! The claws are definitely out and G.O.O.D Music’s Teyana Taylor is not exactly a fan of Rihanna’s right now.
The Harlem singer posted an Instagram video where she sung her own rendition of Anita Baker’s 1986 song, Rapture (VIDEO HERE). Fans flooded the singers timelines with their positive comments.
Clearly, Rihanna was not moved by the touching song. So what happened next? Well Rih, with the help of her friend/hair stylist Yusef Williams, took the time to throw some shade (also on Instagram). In the short clip, Yusef parodies the original post. To add insult to injury, Yusef wore a wig and snapback resembling Teyana’s image.
Once Teyana caught wind of Rih’s shade she attacked, both on Instagram and twitter. Peep the response below:
Don’t play wit me Rihanna f**k all this industry shit, YOU & I know each other VERY well. Throwing subs 4 wat? u got my number, don’t show off… Y’all could bully everybody else & get away wit that shit but that shit ain’t gone work ova here. so y’all could miss me with that NAVY s**t. I sing caught in the rapture on IG then she posts her boy singing the same song, the same part, with curly hair and a snap back??? Petty is petty and shade is shade, b***h knew what the fuck she was doing.
Melissa & Robyn never been about that life. Them b***s know wassuppp! When y’all b***s see me POP OFF. Don’t let twitter get you F***D UP!!!! I’m done on this twitter sh**.
And now we’re in a full twitter beef… Melissa Forde (Riri’s bestie) joined in on the “battle” with her own tweet. Check hers and Rihanna’s replies below.
Rihanna then deleted some of her tweets. But Teyana continued to clap back..
Yup! Our exact sentiments. For more… head over to their respective twitter accounts.
