It ain’t over until she says its over!
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss and former cast-mate Kim Zolciak may have parted ways this year; however, the two is still in the middle of a legal battle for Zolciaks 2009 song “Tardy for the Party.”
Earlier this year, Burruss sued Zolciak for profits made from the sale of the song — the profits which the 37-year-old singer alleged she didn’t receive for writing the pop tune.
While a judge at the United States District Court in Georgia ruled Zolciak as the winner, Burruss is not letting her off easy. “Kim really didn’t win. That was just one level of it,” she told Us Weekly.
It’s just the principal of it at this point. It’s not about the money. I’m doing great otherwise. It’s all just silly. It’s not a big deal to me. I’ve got my daughter and my fiance and am working on new music and a Broadway show that I will star in! So it’s all good.
That show, A Mother’s Love, is an Atlanta-based stage play featuring Eddie Levert, Shirley Murdock, D. Woods of Danity Kane, Q. Parker of 112 and Chandra Currelley. Kandi and fiance Todd Tucker were executive producers for the project that will premiere November 22 through November 24 at The Rialto Theatre.
