According to TMZ,
former supermodel Tyra Banks filed a lawsuit in L.A. County against several wig companies for using her name on their faux hair line.
In the suit, she claims the company stole her “name, photograph, image, and identity” to sell their products.
One example, The Yaki straight [Tyra-Banks style] wig (pictured after the break) doesn’t look exactly like Ms. Banks, however, we get it. The Tyra Banks-inspired line sells for $300 a piece, capitalizing off her valuable trademark.
The 39 year-old Top Model judge is suing for “an injunction to stop the sale of the infringing products — and at least $10 million in damages.”
