If you’re a fan of CBS’ Person of Interest, then you most likely shed a tear during Tuesday’s latest episode, where Taraji P. Henson‘s character (Detective Joss Carter) was killed off the show. However, the talented actress was not surprised of her fate on the show.
The now former star of the television crime drama stopped by David Letterman to discuss her big exit from the show. “You must’ve known this was going to happen,” says Letterman “how long ago did you find out?”
Well, I knew that when I signed on to do the project that the character would have a beginning middle and end because me, I do more feature films and television is really not my thing… I thought it would be the perfect venue for me to do a television show and not be stuck for 7 years and still be able to do whatever.
Henson, 43, went on to reveal that she knew all along. Leaving the show might have been a shock to fans but she expresses that she was well aware when she initially signed on to do the show.
I couldn’t tell anybody… I felt like I’ve been hiding a secret. Keeping a secret from my lover.
Except she did tell one person. Find out who she shared her big secret with in the video up top.
