Not exactly an amendment added to the US constitution.
Instead, it’s a “list of rules” that Rev. Al Sharpton and retail executives have compiled to be displayed inside stores to ensure that black shoppers are not targeted for buying an expensive item.
The list was initially unveiled at the “shop-and-frisk” press conference at Avenue Presbyterian Church and later released to the media after getting final authorization Monday morning (Dec. 9)…
The agreement, which is “a step in the right direction,” took place in a meeting that included Sharpton and executives from Barneys, Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Lord & Taylor and other department stores.
