Actor Paul Walker, best known for his role as Brian O’Conner in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise was killed Saturday (November 30) in a devastating car crash in Valencia, California.
He was reportedly the passenger in a Porsche sports car and his friend / accountant Roger Rodas was driving and apparently lost control. The vehicle then crashed into a light pole and tree and burst into flames.
The duo was returning from an event for Walker’s charity Reach Out Worldwide that benefited victims of the Typhoon that devastated the Philippines.
The charity released this statement:
It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences.

Paul who just turned 40 this year, leaves behind a 15 year-old daughter, Meadow Walker.
