Just when you thought Diddy was keeping it low-key, he pops up and makes another business announcement.
Sean “Diddy” Combs recently partnered up with Diageo (the same company behind his vodka brand, Ciroc) to buy out premium tequila brand, DeLeon. The 50/50 deal allows Combs Wine & Spirits to take advantage of Diago’s distribution network, while the premium drinks company benefits from Diddy’s brand and star power.
Combs took to his Instagram account to share visuals of the “exceptional tequila” in its packaging:
It Was All A Dream, and Now It’s A Reality… Ladies and Gentlemen we are proud to announce the Combs Wine & Spirits newest acquisition [at sign] DeleonTequila [hashtag] DeleonTequila [hashtag] LiquidLuxury [hashtag] DreamBig
Take a close-up glimpse of the ultra-premium drink’s packaging, including one of DeLeon’s five variants REPOSADO after the jump. As for the DeLeon brand, the suggested retail prices for their bottles range anywhere from $120 to over $1,000.
No word on if Diddy’s plans on launching his own bottle of “liquid luxury,” but considering who he is, we wouldn’t be surprised…
