Bobby Valentino – Rockin’ With the Best (full) – listen
Bobby Valentino is working on his new album, Fly On the Wall. Check out the new track, “Rockin’ With the Best,” produced by The Neptunes. Honestly, I kind of like the song, but then again, I’ve always been partial to Neptunes productions. It sounds like some of Pharrell and Chad’s older work, which is interesting, and very refreshing.
Tyrese feat. Sean Garrett – Like I Used To (full) – listen
Tyrese is working on his fifth studio album, the follow-up to 2006′s Alter Ego. There’s no word on an album title or a single yet, but a couple of tracks have leaked from the upcoming project. The most recent of the material is “Like I Used To,” featuring songwriter-turned-artist, Sean Garrett, who has been struggling to his solo project off the ground.
Singing sensation Brandy has so much previously unreleased material that it’s not even funny.
It’s been reported that Brandy had been in the studio with mega-producer, Timbaland to work on her last album, Human and “Chinese (Home)” are from those sessions. Rumors have circulate that in addition to work with Hit Boy of Surf Club, she has also logged some studio time with Timbaland again.
In addition to working with Timbaland on the last album, she also teamed with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, with whom she’s been a muse for countless times before. “Today” is the fruit of some of their labor.
There’s no official word on Brandy’s new album will drop, but with a new reality show about to air, it shouldn’t be long before we hear some real new material.
Check out new music from Drake and The Dream. The song, “Shut It Down” finds Drake flexing his vocal muscle this time around.
Word is this isn’t the “finished version” of the track, but the song will appear on Drake’s highly anticipated debut album, Thank Me Later, which is slated to hit stores some time in May.
Also, The Dream gives a shout out to Concrete Loop on the track. So shout out to him for the love.
Former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland gives us a taste of what’s to come on this upcoming third studio album, which fans have been anticipating.
The new track, “Smooches” is a buzz single, produced by Bangladesh, who is responsible for creating the hits “Diva,” and “Video Phone” for Beyonce, as well as Lil’ Wayne’s smash, “A Milli.”
The new sound for Kelly is exciting. Let’s hope that this track can build enough buzz and that her new situation with label and management will allow her to spread her wings on this new project. She’s been in the studio with David Guetta, Sean Garrett, as well as hitmaker, Rico Love. No word on a solid release date.
