Singer-songwriter RaVaughn is definitely making some moves with her latest single, “Best Friend”. Earlier this month the song was featured on VH1′s hit show, Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta and she is currently touring and promoting the single throughout the United States.
The former background singer recently stopped by the studio to perform an acoustic set of “Best Friend” and let’s just say the performance was EVERYTHING.
Signed to Ne-Yo’s Compound University, RaVaughn is still finishing up her debut album which is expected to hit stores later this year. Keep checking CL for more information on this rising star.

MARIAH CAREY PUSHES ALBUM BACK
With Mariah Carey’s first single, “#Beautiful,” featuring Miguel at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, she announced the title of her upcoming twelfth studio album, The Art of Letting Go, and even before titling the album, she announced a release date of July 23rd!
But since continuing work on the project in the studio with Young Jeezy, Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri and Mike Will, Mimi took to her Twitter to express that she’s pushed the album back to continue to perfect it for her fans…
While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23. I’d rather not exclude meaningful songs. I want to give you this album as it’s meant to be heard. When I’m ready, you’ll be the first to know!
