Actress Meagan Good is going back to her television acting roots.
This time around the 32 year-old is taking on the role of in NBC’s upcoming zombie drama, Babylon Fields.
She’ll be playing Janine Beltran, a local doctor with an “edge,” who works in the town and eventually takes on these zombies:
In the drama, set in a place called Babylon, NY, the dead are coming back to life, as their bodies regenerate, and they grow stronger than the living, leading to the scary suggestions that they just might be the next step in human evolution. [Source]
Gerald Cuesta and Michael Atkinson will be writing and executive producing with former Dexter director Michael Cuesta for the resurrected series. No word on whether the pilot has been filmed.

Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy, Meagan Good and more return for Think Like a Man Too. This go ’round, the couples and friends take a trip to Sin City aka Las Vegas and have a bacherlors vs bacherlorettes war which lands them all in a bit of trouble.
With guest appearances by boxer Floyd Mayweather, Wendy Williams and more, Think Like A Man Too hits theaters June 20, 2014.
Now that she has been free from her former deal with Blackground Records, soul singer JoJo is giving love back to her fans.
In leu of Valentine’s Day, the 23 year-old songstress released a free EP called #LoveJojo, a 4-track compilation of songs about love, heartbreak and happiness.
Aside from the intro and a gospel tune named “Glory,” JoJo covers two classic songs – “Take Me Home” by Phil Collins and “Caught Up in the Rapture” by Anita Baker.

Months after giving birth to her first daughter, Monica Brown has decided to take a family portrait with her children and share it with fans for Valentine’s Day.
The lovely R&B singer snapped a couple cute pictures with her 8 year-old son Rodney Ramone Hill III (aka Rocko), 6 year-old Romelo Montez Hill and the oh-so adorable 5-month old Laiyah.

American Idol‘s reigning champion Candice Glover is giving us all a sneak peek listen to her debut studio album, Music Speaks.
Yahoo! Music exclusively premiered a 20-minute clip of the South Carolina-native’s compilation, with a 90-second preview of her 12 songs.
While chatting with the music site, Glover recalled how American Idol producers & judges didn’t want her to take on a performance of “Love Song,” which is now a bonus track on her album:
Yes, [the show] didn’t want me to sing ‘Lovesong’ at all. … Everybody was more supportive of my big voice, and so I said I didn’t want to scream at America every week, I wanted to do something sensual and about love, especially because that was the week about ‘songs you wish you’d written.’
