How do you know what Nina would have wanted. Did she tell you this???...You guys are killing me. Everyone keeps saying Lauryn Hill would have done better. Maybe she could have if she would get her life together and have cared to go audition for the role or been asked to do it. Everything happens for a reason and Zoe got to do it and she will be great. And she is not a paula patton. I'm not sure how you put that together either.

I totally agree with Richard Overstreet. Sometimes I feel that African Americans are totally confused about things. Black people in Latin America come from a different culture than black americans. She is Afro Latino. TAlk Done!!! Viola Davis would have fit role probably, but she obviously was not the choice for directors or producers. At the end of the day, Nina is being portrayed by a woman of African descent...doesn't matter what part of the globe or culture she came from I am not African American...but I am of African Trinidadian descent...we should be proud and supportive that a black woman is playing the role. We should hope that she will do a great job and go out there and support her by watching the movie and stop putting each other down. Not because you guys are confused by what she may be, does not mean that she does not know who she is and where she came from. Thank you all and have a great day!
