If it’s one label we will continue to see a lot of this summer, it’s definitely Balmain. Since it’s Fall 2008 collection, the 80s inspired rocker-glam designs have been spotted all over Hollywood and recently on CL’s favorites Rihanna and Beyonce.
And this collection is far from cheap folks - Beyonce above wore Balmain’s Crystal-embellished canvas jacket priced at $11,410. Rihanna wore a Military style denim jacket from the same Summer/Spring 2009 collection priced at $5,075. Take a look at more expensive Balmain designs after the cut - would you rock it?

Kanye West shows off his $800+ kicks for Louis Vuitton in these new ads his posted on his blog recently. The photos were shot by Steve Shaw and featured West’s new main squeeze Amber Rose.

New couple Christina Milian and The Dream were spotted doing some big spending on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
The two hit up Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, & Chanel boutiques while on their shopping trip - and The Dream stopped to give out more money to a handicapped homeless man on the street. Looks like a recession ain’t affecting these two one bit!

Models Liya Kebede and Jourdan Dunn take part of the May “Model Issue” and cover Vogue magazine. This annual issue usually highlights the top girls in the business, and the cover was shot by famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel.
Liya has been taking storm since her modeling days for Tom Ford in the early 90s, and recently opened for Balenciaga’s Fall 2009 show. Dunn became the first black model to walk for Prada in over ten years when she was cast in its Fall/Winter 2008 show.
KANYE, RIHANNA, & JAY-Z GET SCENTED
More fragrances are coming from your favorite celebrities. Parlux recently confirmed that the fragrance company inked a deal with Jay-Z’s licensing company Iconic Fragrances and the rapper along with Rihanna, Kanye West and a yet-to-be-announced “well-established female artist” will all release scents.
“We are excited for the opportunity to partner with Parlux and their management team in the launch of these dynamic new brands.” Jay-Z released in a statement. Both Rihanna and Kanye will launch signature scents in the summer of 2010, with Jay-Z and the mystery star following suit in 2011. Wonder who this mystery star is?
