As we mentioned last week, television personality La La Anthony is getting ready to launch her very own cosmetic line (VIEW POST). The actress joined forces with Market America and recently had a photo shoot for her new make-up line. In an interview with E! News, the Brooklyn-native revealed the name of her collection, how her cosmetic idea came to fruition and what it is she hopes to accomplish with it:

I always wanted to have a make-up line, but I just never thought that would actually be possible. My friend Loren Ridinger has the Motives Collection already and I approached her with an idea to come out with Motives By La La. I’m just excited and it’s affordable makeup.
It’s said that Motive By La La will be available for all skin types, but will focus on foundations to match ethnic skin tones, from light to dark. In addition, La La’s collection will include lipsticks, eyeliners, mascaras, eyeshadows, shimmers and a lip gloss line consisting of about 10 shades. Motives By La La hits stores on February 2nd!
Serena Williams has done it. Katy Perry did it, too. Now Young Money’s female emcee, Nicki Minaj aka The Female Weezy will be launching her own collection of nail polish in 2012. The Nicki Minaj OPI Nail Lacquer Collection includes 6 different funky shades and styles, all named after songs from her debut album, Pink Friday. Here’s a little blurb from her official website, MyPinkFriday.com:
Now you can now have Nicki Minaj at your fingertips, literally. Nicki has teamed up with OPI Nail Lacquer bringing lots of cute & fun colors for the barbz mittens. “Super Bass Shatter”, “Fly”, “Metal 4 Life” & of course, “Pink Friday” (just to name a few). Available for purchase in 2012! [Source]
