LIL KIM ACCUSED OF PLAGIARISM
Freshly released rapper Lil’ Kim is facing further court time to defend a Jamaican reggae singer’s claims she copied her lyrics for her last album. Tanya Stephens is suing the hip-hop star – who left prison last month after serving 10 months of a 366-day sentence for perjury – for ripping off a song for 2005 release The Naked Truth.
Stephens alleges lyrics of Kim’s track “Durty” almost exactly match her song “Mi And Mi God,” recorded in Jamaica and released in 1997. According to the suit, filed in Manhattan federal court last week, Kim even adopts a West Indian accent for it. Stephens is claiming rights to the song, as well as all past and future royalties, reports the New York Post. [SOURCE]

FOXY MISSES ANOTHER COURT DATE!
Days after missing a court appearance in Jersey City, NJ, Foxy Brown has skipped another court date in Manhattan Criminal Court this morning.
While Foxy (born Inga Marchand) had a 9:30 am court date, a court clerk told SOHH that the Brooklyn, NY rapper was still a no show well over an hour and a half after the hearing was slated to begin.
“It doesn’t look like she’s gonna show up,” a Manhattan Criminal Court clerk told SOHH. “I’m not sure how long they’re going to be waiting for her.”
I think they just need to throw the book at her ass; time is up and she is getting too many chances! I mean she is stealing belts and acting like she is a MEGAstar, when she hasn’t had a hit record in like 8 years. Give it up Foxy.

This washed up R&B singer (female) has been a drug addict for years. She just can’t beat her habit. When she use to perform in the bay area, her and another R&B singer (who beat her habit) use to hang out at a big time drug dealer’s house in the Oakland Hills and get high between performances, to the point of passing out. This singer seeks out black female celebrities with drug problems, befriends them, and freeloads off them for drugs-because she is broke and near homeless. This is her motto of operation and this is part of the reason her career sunk, she had become unreliable and moody. Hint: She and a male soul singer (well known) damn near overdosed on crack and heroin. This episode caused him to scale back on his use and distance himself from her.
