Halle Berry was spotted leaving her friend’s house in North Hollywood on Thursday afternoon. Some photos recently hit the net featuring the actress holding her daughter Nahla Ariela Aubrey, but we have still haven’t see any full frontal shots of the baby girl. Halle looks good though.
Actress Tracee Ellis Ross was spotted lunching and shopping at Fred Segal in California on Wednesday afternoon. After the early demise of hit show ‘Girlfriends’ (the network did that show dirty), Tracee’s next project is the upcoming movie ‘Labor Pains’ with Lindsey Lohan out next year.
Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon were spotted on their way out of their hotel for an evening out in NYC on Wednesday night. As we reported earlier this week, Nas joined ColorofChange.org and MoveOn.org to protest the racist antics of the Fox News Corporation. He is pictured above speaking to the crowd of fans, media and random new yorkers on Wednesday afternoon in front of the Fox News Headquarters. Jennifer Hudson was a little busy on Wednesday afternoon. After performing on Regis & Kelly in the morning, she headed over to BET at the CBS Studios in Midtown. As stated, her new self-titled album will be in stores September 30th.

So I hit up the Central Park Summerstage on Sunday, July 20 in NYC to check out my girl Santi ‘SANTOGOLD’ White perform her free set. She performed a few songs from her self-titled debut album (my favorite album of the year) and rock’d the stage pretty good. The concert also featured performances from: MZ STREAMZ, KID CUDI, as well as DJ Diplo, DJ Nick Catchdubs, DJ Blaqstarr and DJ A-Trak (Kanye’s DJ).
The scorching heat (yes it was hot as hell) did not stop the fans from showing some support. Almost 6,000 people attended the event and I was lucky enough to get some good shots of most of the happenings. I chilled with Santi backstage for a bit and she posed for some photos exclusively for Concrete Loop. I also have a new favorite rapper, this dude named Kid Cudi. I read some blogs about him earlier this year, but I finally got to see him perform live and his performance and personality was dope. Be on the lookout for an Artist Spotlight on him in the upcoming weeks. Anywho, peep some of my photos from the event.
