Singer/songwriter Ciara took the 5 finalists of her “Who Inspires You?” essay contest to enjoy a day at Six Flags in Georgia on Saturday. The roller coaster, “Goliath”, was also renamed to “Fantasy Ride”, in honor of her upcoming 3rd album of the same name. Ciara also gave a concert there and performed songs from the new album.

In the latest with Halle, the actress will be honored next month by Elle magazine at the 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in Beverly Hills.

Paparazzi surrounded Rihanna as she was leaving her hotel in Paris, France. Just minutes before coming to her hotel, she was out shopping and trying on glasses in the Le Marais area of Paris.
The singer, who is #2 on People magazine’s Best Dressed list for 2008 flew in to France yesterday and will be performing live on Star Academy, France (their version of American Idol) tonight.

Beyonce Knowles was spotted putting the smack down on a dude in Harlem, NY as she played a police officer for the video “If I Were A Boy” - her much anticipated new single that has yet to be released. The singer filmed the video this week, as well as another video for her second unreleased single “Single Ladies”.
Rap-Up magazine revealed a bit more info on Beyonce’s two singles - saying “If I Were A Boy” was produced by Toby Gad (Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry”), and “Single Ladies” was produced by The-Dream and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Rihanna’s “Umbrella”). Both songs are expected to impact radio on October 7th, while Beyonce’s new album is scheduled for release November 18th.

To celebrate the release of his highly anticipated third album, The Recession, Young Jeezy recently put on for his city with a show-stopping live band performance at The Tabernacle and a jam-packed party at the exclusive Velvet Room in Atlanta.
The multi-platinum star also held a voter registration at Justin’s restaurant where he registered and encouraged others from his home state to do the same.
