The New York Daily News and People Magazine are reporting that Beyoncé will join forces with legendary entertainer Tina Turner for a performance at the Feb. 10 Grammy Awards.
News of the duet comes just one day after the Writers Guild of America announced it will not picket the awards show – clearing the way for stars to attend the Los Angeles ceremony.
Oprah Winfrey will launch a new television network with Discovery Communications that will be a “natural extension” of her show, her company said Tuesday.
“The Oprah Winfrey Network” will be a multi-platform media venture “designed to entertain, inform and inspire people to live their best lives,” according to a joint statement with Discovery, which owns the Discovery Network and Animal Planet, among others.
The new channel will debut in 2009 in more than 70 million homes, on what is currently the Discovery Health Channel.

Diddy: I mean, I’ll be honest – I like ConcreteLoop because it’s black. As a black man, I like Perez (Hilton) too, but (ConcreteLoop isn’t) really not about the gossip. It’s more of like a fun approach to it, instead of trying to really hurt people, or being like serious news. When I see stuff (on there), and I see all the black people that have become successful and that are stars, you know, the high-fashion lifestyle that they’re living, you know we don’t really get a lot of play in a People or a Us Weekly or wherever. This is really for my community… I tap on(line) and you know I see all my people. They beat me up on there crazy though…but you know it’s all fun to me. WOW! So I’m sitting on the couch watching the 106 & Park ‘Clash of The Titans’ special on BET yesterday and I hear “Shout out to Concrete Loop” come from Kanye’s mouth. Sometimes, people forget that we are just regular old people updating this site for the fun of it. So anytime we do an interview or get a shout out - it’s a big deal to us. Ya girl was literally in shock when I heard it. I’m sure I speak for Brian and Tianna in this sentiment as well. Y’all already know we love all our loyal readers and commenters.
