With his latest album ‘This Is How I Feel’ finally in stores, Tank celebrated his accomplishment by inviting some of his fans out for a night of food, drinks and pampering. Held at the Hair Rules salon in New York City, a number of his female fans made it out to his Rémy Martin-sponsored event.
The album release was hosted by natural hair vlogger Taren Guy and the ladies were serenaded by the R&B singer while they got their complimentary eyelashes done. CL’s Christine Imarenezor had a moment to speak with Tank about his new album and he simply described his fifth studio album as “a compilation of a lot of great feelings.”
Check out a few pics from the event below as well as a video of Tank giving the ladies a little advice and performing “Maybe I Deserve.” Tank’s fifth studio album, ‘This Is How I Feel’ is in stores now.

In related news, Rihanna will be performing on the season finale of American Idol. She’ll be singing her fifth Talk That Talk single, “Where Have You Been.” You’ll be able to catch that on Wednesday, May 23rd at 8/7pm CST on FOX.
Beyonce, Jay-Z, Erica Reid, Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid and Mary J. Blige attend Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid’s book launch event for his wife Erica Reid’s book ‘The Thriving Child’ at private residence on Tuesday ( May 8 ) in New York City.
The book, ‘The Thriving Child: Parenting Successfully through Allergies, Asthma and Other Common Challenges’ shows the struggles Mrs. Reid had to go through finding out one of her children (both pictured below) had asthma. She also gives tips on what she learned along the way and gets help from some of her celeb friends. You can read more about it over on AMAZON.COM and even pick up a copy.
After many Kentucky Derby attendees made it clear that they didn’t want Mary J. Blige to sing the national anthem with riff and runs (i.e. The 61st NBA All-Star Game), the “No More Drama” singer confidently sang the “The Star-Spangled Banner” as neutral as possible but of course added a little MJB flavor on it.
Mary’s sister LaTonya Blige, Star Jones and Ice T & Coco attended the 138th Annual Kentucky Derby and showed some support as well. Check out her rendition of the anthem and more pics below.
