‘The civil rights movement was a movement sustained by music,’ President Barack Obama said as he welcomed his audience.
The event featured songs from the Civil Rights Movement as well as readings from famous Civil Rights speeches and writings with participants including Bob Dylan, Smokey Robinson, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and more.
