Recording artist Alicia Keys speaks on stage at the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel this past weekend in Beverly Hills, California. The soon to be 31 year-old (her bday is this week) is currently working on her 5th studio album after the 2009 release, ‘The Element of Freedom’.

Jay-Z hosted the grand re-opening of his newly renovated nightclub, The 40/40 on Wednesday night (January 18) with a slew of celebrities like Spike Lee, Wale, Ashanti, Warren Buffett and Angie Martinez. Rumors circulated about Beyonce possibly making her first post-baby birth appearance, but of course she stayed at home with baby Blue.
Speaking of Blue Ivy, the stories of Jay-Z announcing that he’ll no longer use the word “b*tch” in his songs were reportedly fake (READ MORE). The same goes for Beyonce‘s supposedly first interview since having her child. Her mother, Tina Knowles confirmed that it never happened. However, the UK Star Magazine is saying they have proof (READ MORE).

Miami Heat’s DWYANE WADE partied it up over the weekend in Miami Beach and celebrated of his 30th birthday at the Setai Hotel in Florida (January 15). Rapper Common kicked off the celebration with a surprise performance for his fellow Chicago native. T.I. & Rick RossGabrielle Union, other celebrities like Kelly Rowland, teammates Lebron James and Chris Bosh, Lil Duval, T.I. & Tiny and Usher rolled through to take part in the festivities.
Wade’s birthday gifts included a brand new 2012 McLaren MP4-12C sports car, a Vintage 1982 bottle of Dom Perignon and a Hublot 3000 diamond encrusted watch. (Must be nice.)

The 69th Annual Golden Globes were held this past Sunday in Los Angeles, California and garnered about 17 million viewers. Among the winners were actress Octavia Spencer (best supporting actress for ‘The Help’) and Idris Elba (best performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television ‘Luther’).
