La La Anthony was all smiles as she hosted a private screening of her new film ‘Think Like a Man’ at the Bryant Park Hotel in New York City (April 17). The reality star/actress brought her mother along (pictured above) to celebrate the special occasion. The two toasted to the debut of the film (which hits theaters on Friday, April 20th) with X-Rated Fusion Liqueur specialty cocktails named after the film.
After the screening, La La participated in a brief Q&A with attendees and candidly dished on her personal dating experience with her husband, Carmelo Anthony. She kept it real about the game of dating & also shared where she really got her dating advice from:
ON THE GAME OF DATING CARMELO:
“To me, life and love, I mean it’s definitely pure, but there’s still a sense of a game involved. People say all the time, they don’t want to play games in love and relationships, but I don’t care what people say, there’s still some game playing that has to happen. I might not answer the phone all the time. I think I still do that [laughs]. I might act busy when I’m not really that busy. I mean there’s little tricks that you can do to keep you man interested and keep it spicy.”
ON HER SOURCE FOR RELATIONSHIP ADVICE:
“You know I always just follow my mom’s advice. I just do whatever my mom says [laughs]. And it works for me. I mean my mom has been around, as an old school mentality, her tactics still work. So if I’ve ever been given any bad advice, I usually just run it by my mom anyway and she tells me to throw it out the window and do things her way [laughs].”
