After the bit of speculation made around Rihanna’s first single, “Russian Roulette,” the rough draft of her second single, “Wait Your Turn (the Wait Is Ova)” leaks.
The second single is taken from her new studio album, Rated R, which will hit stores November 23rd.
Missy Elliott originally was supposed to drop her long awaited seventh studio album, Block Party after the tracks “Ching-A-Ling” and “Shake Your Pom Pom” dropped at the top of last year, and then followed up by “Best Best,” produced by Danjahandz.
However, she has recently revealed that the album will drop in January of 2010. Of some of the material that was recorded for the album is the Pharrell Williams-produced, “Put It On Ya,” featuring teen sensation, Teyana Taylor. No word or updates on when Taylor plans to release her solo project.
Def Jam is gearing up to release Amerie’s fourth studio album, In Love & War, which is scheduled to hit stores next Tuesday, November 3rd.
Material is surfacing as the release date draws closer, and of the tracks to leak is the synth ballad, “Red Eye,” produced by Bryan-Michael Cox, which leaked earlier this year in low quality snippet form.

On her sophomore project, Shontelle has decided to change the direction a little. She declared, “I’m going much edgier. There is a rock chick waiting to come out of me.”
Check out Rihanna’s first official single, “Russian Roulette” (written by Ne-Yo) from her upcoming new album entitled, Rated R. The “Russian Roulette” video, directed by Anthony Mandler, will premiere in prime-time on ABC soon.
The song is slow tempo ballad but we heard she had some dance tracks on the new record too. I guess we will have to wait until November 23rd to hear more.
