There are no pictures of this woman anywhere, but she’s already has a buzz with her first single, “Drop It Low,” featuring Chris Brown. You may think you don’t know her, but singer/songwriter Ester Dean could have possibly penned one of your favorite songs, and definitely a track that’s been in Billboard’s top 50.
Signed to Polow Da Don’s Zone 4 imprint, Ester is already making a name for herself, with just a couple tracks and a logo. Check out the song.
Former 3LW member and Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon inked a deal with Def Jam not too long and has been working on her debut album, which is set to drop at the top of next year.
Here’s a taste of what she’s been cooking up. The D’Mile-produced first single is titled “Superbad,” and will appear on her upcoming release.
On a couple of different occasions, we’ve featured Memphis native K. Michelle a couple times, but now the Jive Records signee is ready to release her first official single, “Fakin’ It,” featuring none other than Missy Elliott.
“Fakin’ It” comes from K.’s debut album, which is slated for release at the top of next year. The track was produced by Blac Elvis and penned by Michelle herself. She prides herself most on her vocals, her pen and her experiences.
Check out this track from Australian R&B singer Daniel Merriweather featuring Wale. Daniel collaborated with DJ/producer Mark Ronson on his 2007 hit “Stop Me“. Ronson, in turn, produced “Change”, the first single from Daniel’s upcoming debut, Love & War.
An anonymous tipper has been sending blogs this new track that is supposedly Omarion’s first official single, featuring Lil’ Wayne.
Omarion recently signed a deal to Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment, which is also home to newcomer Drake, Shanell and most recently Bow Wow. No official word on whether or not this is truly O’s new single, but I’m sure after it starts to hit blogs, he’ll have something to say about via his Twitter page.
Meet Courtney John. This Jamaican born and bred singer has quite the following in his native country. He’s getting quite a buzz here with his Motown-meets-reggae vibe showcased in his lead single, “Lucky Man”, from his third album, Made in Jamaica.
