Say it ain’t so, my boy Kanye West got arrested at LAX Airport Thursday morning, reports say. Police confirm that he was arrested on charges of battery and vandalism.
People.com has a statement from the LAX police:
“Mr. West was arrested at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism,” said LAX spokesman Marshall Lowe. “Initial reports say this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000.”
“In addition, Mr. West’s road manager was arrested for vandalism and battery,” Lowe said. “Several witnesses are being interviewed by police. West and his manager are being transported to an LAPD station where they’re expected to be booked.”
TMZ.com reports that West allegedly smashed a photographer’s camera in the American Airlines terminal. A TMZ photographer began filming the incident and when West’s road manager, Don C. grabbed the camera, a struggle followed and his manager threw the camera to the ground.

With a tour starting next month, Janet Jackson is also soon to premiere her new lingerie line. The line, named Pleasure Principle (Janet’s hit song from 1987) features a variety of bra styles ranging from sizes 32A to 44G, all under $40 bucks. Jackson collaborated with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi for the collection:
“There’s something for every woman, and that’s very important to us,” Jackson says. “I’ve always hated when lingerie is uncomfortable, so the fit and comfort was key.”
The singer says she was hands-on during designing and sometimes worked on the line at 4 a.m. “I really enjoyed the entire process,” she says. READ MORE

Some new photos of R&B singer Monica and her sons Rodney aka Lil Rocko (3 years old) and Romello Montez hit the net over the weekend. The photos are reportedly promo shots for Monica’s reality show entitled ‘The Single: Monica’ set to premiere on Peachtree TV August 5th. Word is, Monica and her boyfriend, rapper/producer Rodney “Rocko” Hill, Jr. are now engaged to be married.
