Here is the extended trailer of the highly anticipated movie Notorious. The film tells the story of the Christopher ‘Notorious B.I.G.’ Wallace (played by Jamal Woolard), who came straight out of Brooklyn to take the world of rap music by storm. Look out for it in theaters on January 16th.

Disney released the teaser trailer for their 48th animated musical “The Princess and the Frog” this week. The film based off the classic fairy tale The Frog Princess, is set in New Orleans during the 1920s with Disney’s first Black princess Tiana (voiced by Anika Noni Rose).
Also lending their voices to the film are Angela Bassett, Jenifer Lewis, and Keith David. The movie is set to hit theaters on Christmas of 2009…

When Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton dropped out of the presidential race last month, I’m sure she anticipated getting something out of it from Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Obama has mentioned, numerous times, that Clinton would be on anyone’s shortlist. According to published reports, though, anyone but Obama’s.
When Obama appeared on Sunday’s Meet the Press, he hinted that his vice president would be someone not closely identified with Washington, which could possibly rule out Clinton.
More telling is that in recent days, Clinton has said that she believes there’s little chance that Obama will choose her and the mention of her being under consideration is but a courtesy.
Obama’s aides and associates even say that, for various reasons, he is not looking at Clinton to run and serve with him.
An announcement of his VP choice may be made a week before the Democratic National Convention on Aug. 25, Obama has said. Aides to the Illinois senator, however, say it could be sooner.

Synopsis: Lena Baker was a maid who was executed for murder by the State of Georgia in 1945 for killing her employer, Ernest Knight in 1944. At her trial she claimed that he had imprisoned and threatened to shoot her should she attempt to leave, whereupon she took his gun and shot him.
A jury of 12 white men, her subpoenaed peers, found Lena guilty of murder in less than 6 hours. She received the death penalty as her sentence, earning Lena Baker a place in history as the first and only woman to be sentenced to death by electric chair in the state Georgia. She was pardoned posthumously in 2005.
The Lena Baker Story stars actress Tichina Arnold and has yet to have an official release date. Although the movie will have small screenings in Atlanta, word is the are still looking for a US distributor. Looks good though.
