I’ve always liked The Roots, and I’ve always loved seeing them live. This song is just really dope, a good look. I’m excite to hear the rest of their new material, because this song, slated to be the next single, is really really hot. From the rhymes, flow and delivery to the production. But this is really no surprise, The Roots always come correct.

So, Mya’s working on her new album, tenatively titled “Control Freak” and rumors have circulated that she’s working with Dre? As in Dr. Dre. Not sure how that’s going to sound, considering that the last couple of tracks leaked by Mya have been produced by Kwame and Tim & Bob.

I feel like a remix should surpass the original version and just be completely better, and this one just does not deliver. The original “Me & You” track suits her voice a lot better. As far as remixes go, this one doesn’t do much for me. I much prefer the original.

Remember little Sammie singing that song “I Like It,” back in the day? Well, not really back in the day. But Sammie’s all grown up now, and I guess on this Jazze Pha-produced track, his sound is a little more mature, but I hope he plans on bringing something new to the game, because he’s got to step his game up to compete with Chris Brown, who is really his only worthy competition right now.

Another snippet leaked from “Sunday Love.” You can also check out a live performance of this song by Fefe here. I think the live performance really made me antsy to hear the full version of this song. Supposedly, “Sunday Love” is due out June 20th, but that seems a little overzealous considering that the single just impacted radio earlier last week and there’s no video. I hope things work out for Fefe, ’cause I dig her.

I’ve gotten several e-mails about this song and when it’s going to leak. A low-quality rip snippet had been floating around about it, and I’d heard it before, but people were really asking about the full version of this song. What I don’t understand is why people are treating this like a Beyonce song. This is not a Beyonce song. It’s her character, Xania’s song from “Pink Panther.” She plays a popstar in the movie, so of course she has to have a song. So, please, let’s not assume this is on Beyonce’s album. It’s just a song from the movie by her character. Jeeze. Sorry for those who thought this was going to be “Deja Vu!”

So everyone has been asking me about Teedra Moses. Is she working on a new album? Yes. What’s it called? The Young Lioness. When’s it drop? Well… I don’t know. But a new exclusive track taken from Teedra’s MySpace is out and I really love it. Teedra’s voice, as usual, sounds flawless and the writing and production are all on point.
