JOJO SUING HER RECORD COMPANY
Joanna Levesque aka ‘Jojo’, has just filed a lawsuit in NYC courts claiming her record company, (Da Family Entertainment/Blackground) shoved her into a musical “limbo” because they wont let her out of her contract. Levesque recently turned 18 and became old enough to file a lawsuit, which she did immediately.
The singer has been talking about her label issues for months and spoke about the lawsuit via her myspace blog this weekend:

Because of this, I am willing to fight for what I love and ultimately for the chance to regain control of my livelihood and my life. [ READ THE FULL POST ]
She also wants the label to pay her at least $500,000 for damages.
