‘ROUND THE WAY: MATHEW KNOWLES RESPONDS TO THEFT ALLEGATIONS

Since allegations arose of father and former manager Mathew Knowles stealing from his daughter, pop sensation Beyoncé, he finally spoke with the Associated Press for an interview where he speaks candidly about the accusations.

He reveals a lot in the interview about his feelings on the situation with her new album, which has been #1 for the past two weeks, as well as the fact that he has not spoken to his daughter since she has separated from him professionally.

Check out some snippets from the interview:

We absolutely have not taken any money from Beyoncé, and all dollars will be accounted for,” he told The Associated Press in an interview Thursday afternoon. “In no way have we stole money. Again, this about the people who have made these claims — they have to come into the light.”

“The relationship with Beyoncé is extremely amicable. I want to make that clear. Where there’s concern is the people that she’s doing business with,” he said. “I’m challenging all of these folks on integrity, professional integrity.”

She changed almost every aspect of her business,” he stated. “The team ironically appeared to be a cross-pollination of Beyoncé’s team, Roc Nation’s team, and Live Nation’s team, who ironically have the most to gain.”

The only way we will be able to understand this is through a court of law. That’s the only way either one of us will be clear if someone in our camps did something that was not correct.”

They put out the record in a vacuum,” he said, adding that her success came despite setbacks. “It makes you believe that there are some artists that don’t need radio. There are some records that don’t need a record label, and Beyoncé is one of those artists,” he said. [ SOURCE ]

Representatives for Beyoncé and Roc Nation did not respond to requests for comment. Columbia Records and LiveNation had no comment.

Late last week, newly married R&B singer and Atlanta native, Monica released her brand new single, “Anything (To Find You)” from her forthcoming sixth studio album, New Life.

The track, that originally featured rappers Rick Ross and Lil’ Kim, made it’s debut at #71 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week, but Lil’ Kim’s named was not found anywhere on the credits. Monica quickly took to her Twitter (@MonicaBrown) to let fans know what was going on with the new single…

Surprised that Lil’ Kim hasn’t taken to her Twitter to vent about the situation, aside from just retweeting Monica’s rant. Glad it didn’t get ugly…
