According to HitsDailyDouble.com, “King B” finished her 7 day album sale run with 313, 420 units, making it the least amount of album sales out of all her solo studio albums! On a brighter note, the 29 year-old diva surpassed her labelmate Adele, who sold over 90,000 copies of her album 21. Congratulatoins to her!
K. WEST & JAY-Z’S ‘WATCH THE THRONE’ AVAIL FOR PRE-ORDER
Kanye West & Jay-Z have joined forced on their first studio album collaboration, Watch the Throne. The album became available for pre-order in 4 different versions over the weekend. It is said that album will feature guest vocals by Bruno Mars and Beyonce on their track “Lift Off”.According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Murder To Excellence,” “Illest Motherf—er Alive” and “Living So Italian” are some song titles from their upcoming album. Although rumors were saying that the album would be released on the fourth of July, the official album release date has yet to be announced. Following the release of her latest album, R&B singer Jill Scott‘s album, The Light of the Sun, has officially landed the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Nielsen SoundScan, she has racked up a total of 135,000 units in first week sales. This is Jill’s fourth studio album to date.
