Omarion – Entourage (full) – download
Surprisingly, I really like this song. I’m not particularly fond of Omarion’s voice, but I think it’s a nice song. Whoever produced this did a good job, it’s definitely a nice little track. Maybe this means that there’s a new album in the works for Omarion. I wasn’t really a huge fan of his first album, even though I know a lot of people who really enjoyed it. Anyways, I had to give this song a couple of listens to get past the fact that it was Omarion, but it sounds like his sound has matured. Hopefully he can keep it up, and get rid of the baby hair…
Lloyd Banks – My House (full) – download
So I guess that 2006 is the year of Timbaland’s return. He’s been banging out hit after hit, I’m glad. Because I’m a really big fan of Timbaland. This is a pretty nice song, I’m really not sure what it’s about though. It’s sort of random, but that’s pretty much how I feel about a lot G-Unit’s songs. If the title isn’t self-explanatory (“In da Club,” etc.), I pretty much don’t get what the song is about. The beat is definitely funky though, I could see myself getting loose to this in the club! Don’t tell anybody, though.

Bella feat. Rick Ross – Never Be Me (full) – download
I really dig this song because of the beat. It’s got that hard bass-thumping, p-poppin’ vibe to it. Vocally, they don’t really do it for me, but I do enjoy the female rapper towards the end. Her vocal performance and inflections kinda makes me grin. Other than the production being tight, I can’t really say too much about this song. But isn’t it crazy how Rick Ross just blew up over night? I know his manager has to be a happy camper. He came out of nowhere! Anyway, check out Bella’s MySpace if you wanna get to know them a little better.
Le’Che Martin feat. Rico Love – Get Away (full) – download
I have no idea who this girl is, but I know plenty about Rico Love and Rich Harrison. As a matter of fact, what peaked my interest about this song was the fact that this girl isn’t even signed and she’s got Rico Love (Usher’s artist) featured on the track and Rich Harrisson just blessing her with a banger! This beat is nice, typical Rich Harrison, with the Gogo-inspired drums and hard bassline. Give it a listen, and if anyone finds out more about this girl, please let me know! In the mean time, check out her MySpace!

Johnta Austin feat. Jermaine Dupri – Turn It Up (full) – download
Johnta Austin – Make Her the One (full) – download
You might not know the name, but you’ve heard his music. Along with super-writer/producer Bryan Michael Cox, Johnta Austin has written for the likes of Mariah Carey (“We Belong Together” and “Shake It Off”), Mary J. Blige, as well as Letoya Luckett. Now, I guess Johnta’s taking his step into the spotlight and The first song is something like the R&B version of “Slow Jamz” by Kanye, Twista & Jamie Foxx, except with more emphasis on old and new school R&B, instead of just old school classics. Johnta’s voice isn’t anything to rant and rave about, he sounds like any other male crooner out these days, but I think R&B needs a fresh male face.
Paris Hilton – Turn It Up (low quality snippet) – download
I seriously just laugh at the thought of Paris Hilton coming out with an album, but randomly, I could hear this song in the club. When I got a hold on the snippet, I found myself poppin’ in my computer chair, and then I realized that it was Paris Hilton, and I had to catch myself before anyone heard or saw. It sounds like a Scott Storch production, and although there has been confirmation about him producing for the album, we can’t be certain. “Turn It Up” sounds exactly like a song Storch produced for Jessica Simpson titled “Fired Up,” which is where the assumption came from. As we all expect, Paris is not a singer. More of a talker, moaner, whisperer and a breather…

Brooke Valentine feat. Pimp C – Dope Girl (full) – download
Wow, so they gave her a budget for her second album! I was surprised, because after “Girlfight,” you didn’t hear much from Miss Valentine. But like I said, H-Town and Texas as a whole is on the map, so I can see why she wouldn’t want to miss this Texas gravy train. The new single, “Dope Girl” is not much to rave about, but hopefully the feature from the freshly released Pimp C will give some steam behind it. You make the judgement yourself.
Clipse feat. Pharrell Williams – Mr. Me Too (full) – download
So the Clipse haven’t had an album in a LONG time, but apparently, the leak of this track is suppose to cement their comeback. They’ve release several songs since their first album, but I can safely say, I feel like this one is single material. “Mr. Me Too” is just sick. Hopefully this is the next single for their upcoming, highly anticipated album, “Hell Hath No Fury,” which has been reworked more than a few times. Let’s hope this one does it for them now that all the political label drama is over.
