T.I. - Hell of A Life (full) - listen
An unfinished version of this track leaked a while back, and was said to be the first single from the rerelease of his latest album, Paper Trail, but here’s the new, final version of “Hell of A Life,” which was produced by Danja. It’s no word on whether or not the rapper, who is currently behind bars, will actually rerelease the album, but we’ll see.
Keri Hilson - Heart Attack (full) - listen
Another track from previous sessions between Keri Hilson and her penning partners, The Clutch has leaked. “Heart Attack” sounds a little more R&B than the tracks that appear on Keri’s debut album, In A Perfect World…, but that material is still very much up to par. But I can see how it didn’t fit in the mix. Unfortunate that it leaked though, because this track could have definitely been sold to someone else.

Christina Milian - Beat On My Drum (full) - listen
More material from Christina Milian has leaked this week. But this time, it’s some tracks that she recorded pre-The Dream. “Beat On My Drum” was produced by Madd Scientist, and sounds like he sampled a drumline, hence the title. It’s a shame that this song leaked, because I think it could have been sold to someone else, since Milian’s new album, Elope, is supposed to be produced and written by The Dream, Tricky Stewart and L.O.S. exclusively.
Brandy - Tell ‘Em (full) - listen
Here’s a track from Brandy’s Human sessions. The song was produced by Eric Hudson. As usual, Brandy sounds amazing. Especially over the simplicity of this track. I can understand completely why it was left off of her last album, Human. There is something a little unfinished about the song. Brandy is supposedly hard at work on a new album, so be on the look-out to hear some new material from her soon.

R. Kelly feat. Lil’ Wayne - Every Girl (full) - listen
When this song first came on, I was really scared. R. Kelly gets on Lil’ Wayne’s “Every Girl In the World,” and it’s actually quite disgusting. I was a little disturbed. But he’s got to get on the most popular songs, ’cause that’s just what R. Kelly does. He’s begun promoting his forthcoming ninth studio album, Untitled. I actually like his single with Keri Hilson, but this was just sort of too much for me. Not really my cup of tea. Kelly’s new album is set to hit stores October 13th.
Mary J. Blige - Said & Done (full) - listen
Check out this new track from Mary J. Blige, produced by Ryan Leslie. The cut was leaked from her sessions from her upcoming album, Stronger, which is slated to hit stores November 24, 2009 by Geffen Records. “Said & Done” has been rumored to not have made the album, but it’s good to hear new material from Mary.

Chris Brown feat. Bow Wow & Pleasure P. - Can’t Let U Go (full) - listen
Chris offers up a bit of a sad-sap song intro on this new track, “Can’t Let U Go,” featuring Bow Wow and Pleasure P. No word on production credits, but there’s a lot of autotune used on Chris’s voice, even though he doesn’t really need it. Chris can actually sing. Autotune is to fix pitches, but it seems as though folks are abusing it and just using it as an effect. The song is alright, but word is, the material for his new album, Graffiti, which is supposed to hit at the top of next year, is much better. Bow Wow and Pleasure P.’s cameos aren’t much to talk about.
Donnie Klang - Stuck In My Head (full) - listen
Bad Boy signee and Making the Band 4 winner Donnie Klang has been given a second chance after the critical and fan flop from last year, Just A Rolling Stone. It seems as though “Stuck In My Head,” produced by Ansane, is the first official single from his upcoming sophomore release, which I haven’t heard any news about, considering that Diddy has been promoting his Last Train to Paris album, along with his reality show, Making His Band. The song is less Justin Timberlake than the last album.

Amerie feat. Lil’ Wayne - Heard ‘Em All (Remix) (full) - listen
In an attempt to give Amerie’s Def Jam debut, In Love & War the push it needs, they’ve added Lil’ Wayne to the Eric Hudson-produced, Sean Garrett-penned “Heard ‘Em All.” Admittedly, the song has grown on me a lot from the first listen. I think it’s because of the setting, this song definitely knocks in the club. Although Amerie’s album has been pushed back a couple of times, it is scheduled to release November 3rd, and a video for “Heard ‘Em All” is in the works. No word on whether or not Wayne will be involved.
Cassie - Can You Feel Me (full) - REMOVED
Another of many tracks recorded for Cassie’s sophomore album, tentatively titled Electro Love has leaked. No wonder on production credits, but it’s definitely in the same vein of the other pop/dance records that Cassie has recorded for the new album. Currently, they are promoting the single “Let’s Get Crazy,” featuring Akon and a video is said to bein the works.

Kevin Cossom - House (full) - listen
Check out this new track from Kevin Cossom, who we have recently featured in our Hot or Not and Artist Spotlight section. The song “House” was produced by Hit Boy for Surf Club, who are credited as being Polow Da Don’s proteges. I have been impressed with the majority of Kevin’s material. I think his pen game is strong and the production that he has is always immaculate. I think he’s in a winning position. They just need to push him right.
Tank - I Need (full) - listen
Tank, who is frequently recording, be it demos for other artists or material for himself, is back in the studio. Apparently, he’s working on a new album, and this new midtempo track, “I Need,” is produced by the duo Tim & Bob, who are probably most famous for Bobby Valentino’s “Slow Down.” The new album, tentatively titled Sex Love & Pain II: The All Night Experience, is set for release early next year.

Jordin Sparks - It Takes More (full) - listen
More and more material from Jordin Sparks’ upcoming sophomore album, Battlefield has been hitting the internet and has been getting great responses from fans. “It Takes More” was produced by Lucas Secon. I am actually really liking the majority of the material that I’ve heard from Sparks. The music showcases her vocal, but also has a crossover appeal, with a pop feel.
Drake - The Winner (full) - listen
Fan-favorite Drake is still riding high off the acclaim of his So Far Gone mixtape, but it seems as though he is gearing up to record material for his debut album. “The Winner” is probably just some track that Drake decided to go in on. I enjoy Drake’s deliver and flow every single time, he never fails. I’m hoping that he will bounce back from the flack he got from his video for “Best I Ever Had.”
